2009 Jacksonville Jazz Festival
The 2009 Jacksonville Jazz Festival will be kicking off next Thursday, May 21st, and continues throughout the weekend. This year the festival has moved from Metropolitan Park to the streets of our beautiful Downtown. There will be all kinds of activities going on all over including Art in the Heart Downtown, a juried art show and sale, and the Wine Down Tasting Experience in Hemming Plaza featuring a variety of fine wines. Other activities include the 'Round Midnight Jazz Jam, Jazz Talk, Generation Next Youth Talent Competition, jazz brunches, exhibits and children's educational displays.
AND..you get to tour the Courthouse project and see what 26 million dollar grass and chain link fence looks like...F-in' sick! like dancing on a grave..most blanket morons probably never knew they were going to TRY to build a new courthouse.Apathy all around.
