Aura Thai - Review

Saturday Night a few of us (Robeisha, Traylor Hicks, Tonya Lasagna, and The Editor) went to dinner at Aura Thai in Murray Hill. Heres our collective review:

First of all, the ambiance and the food were great. Its the service that totally sucked. We waited over 30 minutes just to get our first drink and by the time our (luke-warm) food was served, the dining room had already turned over - TWICE!!!! Unfortunately, one of the members of the attending crew had previously had "relations" with our server; so we are trying to convince ourselves that was the reason for the sh*tty service. The prices were quite high for Thai food as well. Honestly, it doesnt cost that much to make a plate of Padt Thai.

I think we may have to try it one more time, just to make sure we weren't being discriminated against for aforementioned encounters. Below are the dishes we each had. Traylor Hicks had a softshell crab dish that I wasnt able to locate on the menu.

Nothing on the exterior of the restaurant gave it away that it was actually a restaurant. "Oh, they serve food there?" From the outside, it looked like it could have just as easily been a hair and nails salon.
