Follow-up: Supervisor of Elections Video

Today Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland released a "rebuttal" to this weeks earlier video leak. This from News4Jax.com:

Holland said the woman in the video is a poll worker. She was given the wrong ballot style due to a computer glitch that Holland said the vender has acknowledged the problem.

According to Holland, when the voter realized she had not been able to vote in a particular House race, she brought to their attention, and they then allowed her to vote in just that additional race.

"In a sense what we did was to make sure that when a machine does not operate properly, that we will do everything in our power to make sure the vote is cast the way it should be," Holland said.

The tape, which showed up anonymously at Channel 4 and other media outlets on Monday, has caused a stir at the elections office.

In addition to elections officials, the State Attorney's Office is also investigating the incident.
