Welcome To Florida

A mobile home was sliced in half yesterday afternoon when a tractor-trailer hauling it in Volusia County, Fla., became stuck on some railroad tracks.

Police said the mobile home became stuck near Turnbull Bay Road in New Smyrna Beach when the big rig broke down. The train came around a curve and slammed into it. Workers were able to unhook the rig from the trailer just before the Florida East Coast slammed into the home.

The trained stopped about a half mile down the tracks after hitting the structure. There were no injuries in connection with the crash.
