This just in from MOCA - Jax:

The Museum of Contemporary Arts Jacksonville announced today that Deborah C. Broder has accepted the position of Director of the museum. In this capacity, she will oversee the institutional growth of the museum and lead its professional staff in its mission to present innovative contemporary arts to the Jacksonville and Northeast Florida region. Broder will assume responsibility on July 23 and will work closely with the staff and Trustees to ensure the long-term sustainability and success of MOCA Jacksonville as a viable resource for art education and contemporary art for all segments of the community.

"I greatly look forward to leading MOCA as it prepares to bolster its exhibition schedule, increase the permanent collection and provide innovative educational programming for its members and the community," says Broder. "The institution's educational mission, from innovative outreach to outstanding services and programs for visitors, makes it a unique cultural asset. I am very excited to have the opportunity in my new position to help Jacksonville realize its potential as a greater contemporary art center and to help promote the role of MOCA throughout the Southeast region.”
