The Bourne Ultimatum - Review

We went to see the sneak preview of The Bourne Ultimatum last night at the Regal Cinema's at the Avenues and lets just start out by saying...the theater was TOTALLY packed. We arrived around 6:45pm (a whole 45 minutes before the showing) and had to sit three rows from the front. By 7:30 all of the seats were filled.

The movie starts out with an action packed chase scene that pretty much continues throughout the duration of the feature. There are a few resting points where they throw in a little plot (along with a few twists) and some flashback scenes, but quickly and surely the action starts right back up without missing a beat. At just under two hours, 1 hour and 51 minutes to be exact, the movie was just about the perfect length. I mean honestly, aren't we all just a little tired of the 2.5 hour + movie. Sometimes its nice to sit down and enjoy some mindless entertainment for a short spell. The Bourne Ultimatum is just that...mindless and completely entertaining.

We probably would have liked it even more if we wouldn't have been sitting so close to the screen. So as we nurse our cricked necks this morning we will be actively recommending this movie to all of our action-fan friends.
