Lighting of the Great Tree

Don't miss the Lighting of the Great Tree tomorrow night, Saturday, November 10th, at the St. Johns Town Center.

The festivities begin at the Main Stage near Town Square at 5PM. A variety of holiday entertainers will be on hand to dazzle and delight.

  • 6:20 – 6:35 p.m. – Paxon School for Advanced Studies Symphonic Band
  • 6:45 – 7 p.m. – The Pride of First Coast – The Marching Buccaneers of First Coast High School
  • 7 p.m. – Tree lighting ceremony begins.

Also enjoy special performances by World Rhythmics, and Kalubys Dance Club. Plus a special appearance by George Huff from American Idol. Also, don’t miss Santa and Mrs. Claus! Then, count down to the lighting of the tree with a spectacular FIREWORKS GRAND FINALE!!!!!

If, according to recent poles, 85% of the people in this country believe in God. Why are you pandering to those less than 15% of the population? If you want that 85% to shop in your mall? You better start remembering why we are having a shopping season in the first place. It's called a Christmas Tree!

Just another example of the "politically correct" bowing to the few. On the good side it gives me one less place to shop and fight traffic. Keep it up and you want need the new center at WGV.
