Local food enthusiasts need not wait for the next social event to indulge in Catering by Liz’s fine cuisine. The longtime Jacksonville catering firm, which opened its Bella Sera event facility in Riverside nearly a year ago, has unveiled a new retail section. Called Bottega di Bella Sera, the store features an incredible selection of Catering by Liz favorites for every day of the week and will officially open on Monday, Jan. 14. “Bella Sera is now a place where our customers can experience our food and take it home to enjoy,” said Chef Liz Grenamyer, owner of Catering by Liz. “We are elated to open the retail section of Bella Sera to the public.” The store includes a wide selection of to-go meals, dinners and lunches, as well as wine, locally grown vegetables, cheese and other food products. Lara McFall, formerly of Biscotti’s, will manage the 400-square-foot store near the corner of Park and King streets in Riverside. The store’s hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Bella Sera includes an open-air courtyard with room to seat 15-20 people, as well as a main dining room that can be sectioned off for smaller gatherings.
