So many things and so little time. Here are a few things going on this weekend.

Opening of the Beaches

• Sandcastle Contest Saturday April 26th at 1PM
• Beaches Parade Sunday April 27th at 2PM

Jax Irish Fest

• 3 Stages hosting dancers, singers, and other performers
• Food
• Crafts
• Guinness

Much Ado About Books

A day-long book festival and literacy program begins at the Prime Osborn Convention Center at 9AM and moves to the Jacksonville Main Library at 2:30PM. More than 30 authors will participate and appeal to readers of all ages. R.L. Stine of Goosebumps fame and Jane O’Connor, creator the popular Fancy Nancy series will be on hand. Most of the events are free and open to the public.

Midnight Movie at the San Marco Theatre

Tonight and tomorrow night at midnight the theatre will be showing The Shining and as a bonus check out the "making of" prior to the film (so get there around 11:30PM).
