Wow! and this isn't the first time she's said some stupid stuff. Take a look at these quotes from early last year (2007)... Ok, please keep reading as I think this is a reasoned rebuttal to this post -- especially if you take the time to read the stuff which I took the time to link here. Anyhow, I saw "The Editor" of this blog at Kickbacks last night, and he pointed me to this "real bombshell" of a post. He described it as a possible “October Surprise” that some special somebody is keeping in the can until just the right moment when it will inflict maximum damage on the Obama campaign or as something the Hillary camp is holding on to until…. I dunno, I get lost here…. who knows when?! I came on the site and watched the FauxNews clip. Wow, how enlightening! This guy, Roger Stone, seems like one of their grade A demagogues. Where does News Corp get these hatchet men like Roger Stone from? Peddlers of snake oil, innuendo, and division is how he/they strike me. Does Roger Ailes just shit them out every morning after reading the Washington Times, WSJ, and some Hugh Hewitt? I WOULD give this clip plenty of credence... that is… if I wanted to destroy every shred of credibility in my blog. I then did a little research, which evidently "The Editor" of Jacksonville Confidential never bothered with, and I have problems with the post and video clip in oh so many ways.
First off, "The Editor" and the venerable Roger Stone described this mad race between the Clinton and McCain opposition research teams to get their hands on the tape. I'm sure the McSame folks have whipped themselves into frenzied delusions of Pennsylvania Ave grandeur over the possible existence of a tape like this. However, if Clinton thinks there's a possibility of its existence, she's surely not showing it by making the following move:

Roger Stone contends that it’s the only apparent reason "she's staying in the race," right? Ha! Balderdash! Wouldn’t she be fighting on to Denver and the Credentials Committee if her oppo team thought there was even a remotely minute possibility of this rumor being true?

Alroighty, I'm done here, but one quick last word. As is already abundantly clear for anyone with an IQ above that of Cretin Larry Johnson, I'm pretty far off to the left ideologically, a "bleeding heart Obama Progressive Pinko Commie Liberal" I guess to some. However, I do ask just this one thing of acquaintances who I want to like such as "The Editor" of this blog and his friend/my friend who I saw at Kickbacks last night. Let's argue the very real differences which exist between Obama and McCain on the substance of the very Real Issues of our time: War and Peace, the Economy, Civil Liberties, Foreign Policy, truly "Supporting Our Troops" Government Transparency, Bottom Up Engagement of our Citizenry in this National Conversation, Equality, etc. But let's not employ the Rovian wedge driving and dividing of our country into competing camps of irrational and mutual distrust for temporary political gain -- the same old tired political ploys which appeal to our worst angels, which play on very real prejudices… those angels of fear which relegate people who really share so much in common into separate groups. This post and this clip continue in that same sad tradition. Enough innuendo and needless noise peddling! Let’s say NO to these same old tricks this time. Let’s not be distracted from the real issues which affect all Americans this time. Our Country Deserves Better!
