Kickbacks Updates

Kickbacks, now officially "Kickbacks Gastropub" has just unveiled their new logo, done by Jacksonville Confidential Staff member Joe(y), Graphic Designer and Owner of Compound Graphics.

For those that dont know, a gastropub (or "gastro pub") is a British term for a public house which specializes in high-quality food a step above the more basic "pub grub." The name is a combination of pub and gastronomy and was coined in 1991 when David Eyre and Mike Belben opened a pub called The Eagle in Clerkenwell, London.

Gastropubs have been described as the Anglo-equivalent of the French brasserie or the Japanese izakaya. Thanks Wikipedia!

Although Kickbacks Gastropub does not claim to be a British pub, they are simply borrowing the term to let people know that this is not your typical bar food. Also, serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, its much more than just a bar.

I love this place. Seems like every time I turn around they're making more improvements. And that's saying something because I turn around a lot.

This place is awesome, the fod is always good, and I have not seen a beer selection like this anywhere else. The have over 150 beers, 60 just on tap and they're just going to keep making it better. the atmosphere rocks, the staff rocks, I can not think of anything negative about this place.
