Sacrilege

TOTAL SACRILEGE!!! According to the Times-Union, Christ Church Anglican on the Westside held a ceremonial "film-burning" yesterday on the old Playtime Drive-in site (which they now own). Apparently the congregation had found around 100 reels of porno while cleaning the site up after the purchase of the theater in May.

"Dozens of rusty film cases were stashed above the concession stand, some hidden in the walls. Eldredge and his staff didn't need to watch any of the film to know what it was; names like Kinky Business(1985) (starring Tracy Lords and Ron Jeremy and Private Teacher (1983) (starring Kay Parker and Paul Thomas) gave the contents away."

Yesterdays sermon revolved around and led up to a dramatic burning of the "unholy" media to cleanse the property and make it "holy". The JFRD was on site to control the burn and to douse the flames with holy water after all of the films were destroyed. Click Here for the full story and for a few more pictures.

We sobbed when we read this story and would like to let everyone know that if you ever find any pornography of any type, please let us know and we will happily drop by to take it off your hands.
