As much as we hate rickety rides and carnies, we still had to venture out to the Greater Jacksonville Fair for food, fun, booze, and rides. It was last week and attendance was quite low, there wasn't a line in sight. We took advantage of the desolation and rode everything, the rides, the animals, the hooker behind the Freakshow (just kidding).
One thing we do LOVE about the fair is that it is a total SAUSAGE FEST!
The fair is here until this Sunday, November 9th, so don't miss your chance to partake in this once-a-year event.

I think the fair is gone by now, but if you go next year, you must, must, must try the bar-be-que baked potato.
I might make home versions of these. They're that artery-cloggingly delish.
