Rumors have been swirling around, pretty much, this entire year about a live-action Wonder Woman movie in the works. The most recent campaign for a new Amazonian Princess flooded the internet this week with the poster below. Fans are trying desperately to get Megan Fox (Transformers) cast in the role over Warner Brothers Studios' rumored pick Megan Gale (post-production Justice League:Mortal). Either way, we can't wait for an updated take on the first lady of superheroes. If only we could clone Lynda Carter for the new installment. Memories of her spinning around with her magic lasso make us giddy.

The Megan Fox story is being officially denied by Warner Bros. My theory - WB has a direct to DVD Wonder Woman animated film due out in Feb. It's getting some heavy hype too, with a slick promo film, and plenty of endorsements from their all star cast - "Dr Octopus" from Spiderman is Ares, and Rosario Dawson is Artemis!! This is probably a 'test the waters' deal, and should it do well, a full length live action Wonder Woman, starring whomever, will follow in short order, and very much in the same tone as the animated version.
I cant think of anyone I'd rather see play wonderwoman than Megan Fox, i'd like to see her buff up a little though !!!
