Who saw last nights American Idol? The majority of you we suspect because it was from right here in the River City, Jacksonville. We watched and, unfortunately, we didn't see any of the peeps that we Spotted at American Idol auditions back in August or any of the People We Liked from those auditions. We did, however, spot a close friend of Jacksonville Confidential, Cynthia Nixons girlfriend, and George Ramirez (of Night of the Living Dead fame?). Check it out..... AJ Neaher is a personal friend of several Jacksonville Confidential staff members and is also the Chorus Director for Lee High School in Riverside. He's got a great voice and we were sad to not see him walk out with a golden ticket.
We also saw Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixons girlfriend Christine Marinoni....
And finally none-other-than the master of horror, George Ramirez. At least that's what this guy "said" his name was. We think he was a total ringer.....
It was great to see Jacksonville on the small screen for a national event like American Idol, but honestly some of the people out there representing our fine City should have just stayed at home.

I was dissapointed that AJ was not on the show as well. I know that Idol came to his school and took shots of him teaching and interviewed different people at the school.
It was really nice to see all the contestants in Amelia Island from the Westside and Lake Butler. Too bad they couldn't even find their way back with a GPS. Way to pick them American Idol. DUVAL COUNTY!
