We have a follow-up to our blog Kickbacks Sandwiches and Home Style Cooking from last month. If you will recall, a new eatery was setting up camp on Edgewood Avenue called Kickbacks Sandwiches and Home Style Cooking. Thing is, there's already a Kickbacks (Gastropub) here in town and it's just a few blocks away from Edgewood. We spoke with the original restaurants' owner, Steve, and he said he spoke with the owners of the new spot and informed them of his business and the possible litigation that could arise from their name. They were warned.. I'm sure a letter from an attorney made them submit. Not sure if their food will be any better (or worse) than Kickbacks. Will Jacksonville Confidential post a review from this new neighborhood establishment?
Make sure you try the chitterlings they are superb.
Looks like the Kickback's on Edgewood won, or they don't care. Driving by it looks like it's finally opened.
