If you missed the Oscar Party at the 5 Points Theatre this past Sunday, you're in luck. The Florida Times-Union was on the scene filming and we have the video for you right here. It looks like everyone had a wonderful time and and we're sorry we couldn't make it.

yeah, he looked like a flamer
ok, so he happens to be gay. the fact is that he did a horrible job with the jacksonville film festival. i agree with your assessment and he should not be allowed to return. whoever appointed him to this post needs to be accountable and suffer the same consequence, 'get fired', but this is sponsored by the city of jacksonville, so that will never happen. remember, this is jacksonville and we're still ruled by the same bunch of retarded duds that got rid of the jacksonville jazz festival. we've got a long ways to go, wish a lot of these people would take their narrow, backward thinking and their religion and just go away!
okay, so I, pretty much agree. Jacksonville Jazz Fest and ESPECIALLY the JAZZ FESTIVAL have gone to the birds. I am an April baby and I remember many years of going to the Jazz Fest in Met Park and seeing such awesome artists as Bella Fleck, Harry Connick, and many others serenading me during my week-long fest. Its not the same and it sux now. blunt.
The Jazz Festival was such a great event. Too bad it's no longer something Jacksonville can boast about. And, as for the local Oscar party, Jacksonville Confidential needs to get off their couch and represent. Perhaps one of the few events in the city worth attending and JC is absent! Get on with the program will you?
