B.A.B.E Rally Follow up

Today was the third day of the 2009 Big Apple to Big Easy Banger Rally and we've received a journal with pics from our local boys Simon Keymer and Todd Johnson who are participating in the rally to support Daniel. Check this out!

Day 0

The team met up in Staten Island with no problems. Simon and Todd survived the auto-train and Justin flew in to JFK from Abu Dhabi. The hotel is crowded with competitors and the parking lots full of our competition: the wackiest and weirdest bunch of cars you'll ever see.

Crossing the startline at 9.30 am. Next stop Virginia.

Day 1

We were the first team to reach the end on Day 1. There was a treasure hunt on the way in which we had to get pictures (Confederate flag, hot air balloon etc.) we did not do so well on that......!

Today is astronaut day. We are wearing our space suits. A surprisingly awesome experience.

Tennessee tonight.

Day 2

We crossed Virginia into Tennessee and had a series of options for towns to visit and photograph. We chose the toughest to reach (more points) and seriously regretted it at one stage as we struggled up a mountain to "Mountain City" Tennessee..... (name something of a giveaway). Despite this, we were first in AGAIN!

Today we all had to dress as spacemen.
