Jacksonville Confidential staff photographer Robin took a visit to the SouthBank to take some pics of Friendship Fountain and he did a fantastic job. We are total fans of the fountain and hope that the City decides to keep it. If you aren't up on current local events, then you probably aren't aware that the City has had several problems with pumps for the fountain and other concerns about the use of the land and have been debating renovating the structure or totally doing away with it. We say NAY!!! Keep the fountain, it's truly a Jacksonville landmark! Nooooooooo! There is no intelligent reason to get rid of that fountain! How would you be able to take a field trip to it/museum if it was gone (I know you remember them, grown ps who are in their 30's)
