Kickbacks Beer Dinner #5

Tonight @ 6:30 pm is beer dinner #5 in the Kickbacks Gastropub Beer Dinner Series and it will be with Cigar City Brewing. Joey Redner, founder of the brewery, and Wayne Wambles, head brewer, will be the hosts.

Chef Jon and Chef Gary have planned the pairings for this dinner and a copy of the menu is below. There will be 11 courses of beer for this dinner and the beer offerings are -

• Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale
• Jai Alai IPA
• Jai Alai Cedar Aged IPA-Humidor Series
• Guava Grove Ale
• Bolita Brown
• Improvisacion Oatmeal Rye India-Style Brown Ale
• Big Sound Scotch Ale
• Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout
• 110k + OT Batch #2 (I.R.I.S.) 2009
• 1 cask style will be Jai Alai IPA treated with peaches and acai, Cigar city has never done this treatment before, the style will be unique to this beer dinner.

That's 6 kegs, 1 cask, and 4 bottles of beer! Holy Cow!
