No this isn't one of our clever photoshops, this is really some stupid whore with two small children, in child seats, in the back of a pick-up truck. Something really needs to be done about this.

They actually featured these pictures on the news last night. DCF and JSO are looking into these people, and the news tracked down the address the truck is registered to. The trailer is empty and listed for rent... You stay classy, Jacksonville!

Try to look at the other possibility - the truck has 3 people in the cab, the kids are in child seats, there is an adult in the back with them and we can't see if the seats are strapped in or not. If they went to the trouble of putting the seats in the back, I'd like to hope that they at least ran a strap through the seats where the seatbelt would normally go - just saying.
when we were kids, we'd sit on the side of the bed while it was moving. She has to be back there for thekids..
What I see is 2 kids SITTING DOWN, in rear faceing seats, with ADULT SUPERVISION. The TAILGATE IS UP and dad is driveing in the slow lane.

It must have been a slow news day if this was the best the Jacksonville Confidential could come up with. Who worries about other peoples business except Rosie O'donell, and bored alcoholic housewives. Why not report on something that is actually "newsworthy"?
I find it interesting that nobody has mentioned the UNSAFE DRIVER WHO TOOK THE PICTURE. You know, THE ONE WHO FINDS IT NECESSARY TO STICK HIS NOSE IN OTHER PEOPLES BUSINESS, the person who had to take his eyes off the road, and take a hand off the wheel to fumble around for his camera, then took his hands off the wheel and his eyes off the road again to take the picture.
The woman that took the photos appeared on the news. She was a passenger. What did you blog about that day?
And if this were an expensive convertible with the top down and 2 kids in rear-facing car seats, it would be ok? I fail to see the difference, especially since nobody knows whether or not the seats are strapped in.
Funny, I am almost 40 and rode MANY times in the backs of pick-ups with no restraints and I'm still able to function in life. Who are you self-righteous a$$holes to judge others, when none of this is any of your business? What a classless, uninformed, poor excuse for a 'news' outlet.
