The Bold City Brewery/Sun Dog Diner Beer Dinner will be held this Monday, March 8th at 7PM preceeded by a meet and greet at 6:30. Tickets are $40, which includes 9 courses and 11 beers. Call Sun Dog Diner at (904) 241-8221 to reserve your space. App: Sun Dog's award winning Ahi Tuna with homemade ponzu & wasabi served with BCB's Mad Manatee IPA. Salad: Hard seared Salmon with Scandinavian potato salad & homemade horseradish sauce (cold) served with BCB's 1901 Red Ale. Intermission - A surprise BCB beer Entree: Osso Buco & Scallops - Braised Pork over Egyptian couscous with Moroccan spices, Jumbo Sea Scallops seared over caramelized red cabbage & mustard sauce with BCB's Smokey Porter. Dessert: Cake donut bread pudding (no raisins, but probably nuts will be in there) with BCB's Cask of Duke's Brown Ale aged with espresso beans. These beer dinners are quite popular and of the few we've been to around town, we've had a FANTASTIC time. It's totally worth checking out.The Menu -
- Curtis' grilled wings (first fried, then tossed in medium sauce, grilled & dusted with a little blackening) served with homemade dressings served with BCB's Chinook IPA.
- Crab stuffed roasted vegetable with tomato confit served with BCB's Killer Whale Cream Ale.
- Roasted Asparagus & lump crab salad (cold) served with BCB's Fritz's Hefeweizen.
- Stuffed Chicken Breast - Boneless Chicken breast stuffed with Apples & Chestnuts roasted in bacon, celery root puree & brandy sauce with BCB's ESB.
- Pan Roasted Sea Bass - Pan Roasted Chilean Sea Bass over fennel onion confit with tapenade sauce with habanero pur with BCB's Duke's Brown Ale.
