John Aylesworth, best remembered as the co-creator of the long-running country variety show “Hee Haw”, passed away last week at the age of 82. Aylesworth leaves behind a long legacy of music, television, screen, and play-writing as well as several Emmy nominations. He just released a history of the hillbilly comedy called, “The Corn Was Green: The Inside Story of Hee-Haw”. The title makes us think maybe the cast and crew of the show were smoking on something the whole time. The clip below does too…
