Riverside Trolley Updates

Great things are happening with the Riverside Trolley these days. According to our good friend Kerry Speckman (who is now part of the team over at the JTA)…

”the route is being extended to FSCJ’s Kent Campus and will now include stops at St. Vincent’s and the Shoppes of Avondale (at the moment it only goes as far as Five Points)…in addition, the hours are being extended to 5 a.m.–7:30 p.m. (now they are 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.). Trolleys will come every 12 minutes from 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and every 35 minutes off-peak. The price is going up from 50 cents to $1 to support the improvements.”
For a complete list of service changes CLICK HERE. Jason saw a great short on WJCT over the weekend promoting the Trolley, be on the look out for it, and we think the extended hours and route are a fantastic update to Jacksonville’s mass transit. Ride that Trolley peeps!

How about a trolley that runs from Five Points to downtown? That way people can actually go downtown to drink without having to drive, park, etc. Hey, people will go downtown.

Damnit, I meant to say for it to run until 3am or something like that.

There are quite a few benefits of a trolley and pallet truck. One of the advantages of both these bulk moving devices is that they can handle large volumes of weight. A trolley carries a large volume of weight but its design is such that it has to be pushed along by a few men. However, a pallet truck carries large volumes of weight normally packed or stacked on the pallet. An important point to be noted here is that always make sure what you will be carrying before you decide upon the size of the trolley or pallet truck. If you have to carry something heavy you need to determine how they will be loaded and unloaded.
