Happy 25th Birthday to video game icon Mario from the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Up until quite recently Super Mario Brothers was the best selling video game of all time, that title is now held by Wii Sports (also from Nintendo). Mario has appeared in a plethora of self titled games; Super Mario Brothers 1, 2, & 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, New Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Brothers for Wii, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. His first appearance ever was in the original Donkey Kong. Here’s a 25th Anniversary video released by Nintendo to commemorate the occasion.
