We heard from numerous Jacksonville Confidential readers over the weekend that the Sushi Cafe in Riverside (2025 Riverside Ave # 204 in the Publix shopping center) has closed and the owner and several workers are about to be deported back to China for being illegal immigrants. The Florida Times Union has a more in depth story RIGHT HERE. That only leaves about 20 more sushi choices in the area. We suggest Sake House right around the corner on Margaret Street in 5 Points.

It was open today. Not sure what's going on.
If it stays closed, Publix has sushi, Long John Silvers has fish.
