Who knew that Pizza Palace on the Park in Riverside (920 Margaret St.) had an All You Can Eat Spaghetti & Meatballs dinner special on Tuesdays and Thursdays? They do and it is delicious. A few of us went up to the Italian eatery last night for dinner and partook of the fantastic $5.99 deal. You also get all the garlic bread you care to eat, but don't fill up on it! Honestly, the service was a bit slow, but we were taking our sweet ass time anyway and didn't have any beer, so the urgency wasn't really there. We foresee many a trip to Pizza Palace on Tuesdays and Thursdays from here on out. We took a few pics....the close-up pics of the meatballs are extra delicious. I saw that this place got hit with a warning from the Health Dept...doesn't surprise me.
Pizza Palace has good pizza, we used to order delivery from their King Street location once or twice a week. Then their driver got robbed once, so their dumbass solution was to stop doing deliveries. The restaurant itself is bleh, I can't imagine that refusing to do deliveries is going to be good for their business. You'll probably see them close soon...
Meatballs from a five gallon bucket and that Licorice/anice taste in thier Sysco sauce is too sweet.
