Weekend Planner

It's going to be a beautiful, and hot, weekend here in Jacksonville. Here are a couple of things going on....

Friday June 6th

  • Moonlight Movies at the Jacksonville Beach Seawalk Pavilion - Watch a free movie under the stars at the Seawalk Pavilion. The film starts promptly at 9PM tonight. Get there early for a good seat and be sure to bring a chair or towel to sit on. Tonights movie is African Queen.

    "As World War I breaks out, Charlie Allnut is ferrying supplies around East Africa in his steamer, The African Queen. He comes across a missionary team and warns them of the war however, the missionary pair stays. When Rev Sayer dies, Allnut agrees to escort Sayer's sister, Rose, back to the West. However, she convinces him to perhaps take on a German ship. On their journey, the two fall for each other before the inevitable conflict."

  • First Fridays in 5 Points - Enjoy Art, Live Music, and Cocktails in 5 Points. Tonights event includes the third year anniversary of Anomaly.....

  • Beach Day - Sun and Fun at Jacksonville Beach. Check out the Lemon Bar in Atlantic Beach for great Rum Runners and a hip crowd.
