Preservation Tap & Chophouse - Reader Reviews

We received emails last night from 2 of our readers (they will remain anonymous) who went to Preservation Tap & Chophouse for dinner. They both had some very interesting and enlightening commentary on the eatery. Below are their reviews:

Review 1

Loved the atmosphere, the meals we ordered, ribeye w/shrimp & grouper catch of the day, left much to be desired... no flavor! Service was excellent but we left very disappointed. We enjoy eating a good meal and don't mind paying for it, but we walked away, feeling like we did not get our money's worth. I wanted to love the whole experience but couldn't. At this time I cannot recommend this restaurant to friends. Love MossFire Grill though.

Review 2

What a great space! Congrats on the amazing interior. And the service was, for Jax, top notch. Menu, terrific and original with the sweet potato mash, corn pudding etc. However, the food lacked. Steak was dry, corn pudding, although a great idea, also dry and lacking in taste. The house salad had old mushrooms, refrigerated tomatoes, unpeeled cucs, ho-hum other stuff. The rosemary dressing - excellent and original. Get the food up to par!!!

We really appreciate both of your emails and encourage all of our readers to provide feedback on any of the restaurants around town.
