Teabagging this Wednesday

Don't forget, this Wednesday, April 15th, is Tax Day and also the day that Conservatives want everyone in the Country to send Teabags to the White House and to take anti-Obama rallies to the streets. You can also teabag Obama on Twitter and Facebook. Check out this report from Rachel Maddow.

If that's not enough to make you laugh, then check out another news report from Rachel this week about the National Organization for Marriage's anti-gay campaign called "2 Million For Marriage" also known as 2M4M. Watch...

These people are idiots, they are complaining about taxes, try being a gay man who pays 50K a year in property taxes, mostly allocated for the school board, and guess what, we dont have kids in schools, cant get married, cant have partner benefits, so we are the ones who should be protesting, talk about taxation without representation, im sick of republicans who cant get over the fact their days are past, the election is over, you lost, get over it.

I do not want to play devil's advocate but as our new President has said, "there are two sides to every story". It is possible that some (ill-informed, monumentally self-deceiving) gay americans hold personal political beliefs of small government and limited taxation and thus believe, however incorrectly, that the GOP offers the best path to those goals.

Even a superficial study of the past 40 years of history shows this to be utter nonsense however as the escalation of the 'war on drugs', the pogroms against gays and lesbians, the destruction of our education system through dangerous programs like 'Intelligent Design' and the forced intrusion of the government into every aspect of our personal lives were all perpetrated by the GOP which is basically the political arm of the American Taliban, intent on imposing a fundamentalist dictatorship on the country.

It is ironic that the GOP has advocated such violence against fundamentalist Islam -- since they share so many of the same self-stated goals.

I wish one of those nut cases with a gun would find a way into his studio and do him in, that would be poetic justice
