Yeah. It wasn't great but it certainly wasn't yuck. Too bad it closed.
it closed due to the economy. the food was great. they even had the clean plate award many times just watch 47 news on thursday at 10:00 i'm sure you can find it. we have been eating their for decades.we will miss the place.
i loved that place. had the best eggplant parm of all the pizza italianos in town
Is this web site reliable or just a forum for one sided non researched information. How do you quote one source and only say negative things about a business instead of doing your homework and finding out the real reason a business has closed. There is more than one side to every story and yours about Pizza Italiano seems to be written to be mean and sets a bad standard if this site might ever go anywhere. With a story so negative and slanted this web site will probably be the next business in Jacksonville to close

I had a terribly bad experience there a few months ago. Whoever that pear-shaped guy who worked there is..... He is rude and very flamboyant. Try casa Dora downtown for some really good Italian.
I love Jacksonville Confidential, it will never "go out of business".

Ew! "enjoying" the eggplant Parmesan? I doubt that, I ordered it one time and it was basically a greasy pile of mush. No tears shed here over the closing of this dump. I hear it's converting to a roach motel.
