This weekend the Jacksonville Roller Girls Roller Derby is having a Double Header! Saturday, August 29th, The girls present a Down N’ Derby event when the Duval Derby Dames take on the River City Rat Pack. Round two will star Duval’s finest, the New Jax City Rollers, versus Harbor City’s Molly Roger Roller Girls. This double bout event takes place at Jax Ice and Sports Plex (3605 Phillips Highway). Doors open at 5:30pm and the bout will begin at 6:00pm. Ticket prices are $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door. Tickets can be purchased from Skate Bomb at the Beach, at Brown Paper Tickets, or from one of your local roller derby girls. Roller Derby is rated “M” for mature due to language, blood, sweat, rears, and beers.
