Ricky Gervais was absolutely hilarious and he refused to spare even the most major of stars from roast and ridicule. Matt Damon even got in on the action when he introduced the evenings Cecil B. DeMille award to Robert De Nero, acting as though he had just heard of the actor 5 years previous when he asked Damon to join the cast of The Good Shepherd. What we wouldn't give to attend the event, just one time. It looks like an absolute blast.
